Vice President, China Television Artists for Poetry and Painting AssociationGraduated from the Beijing Film Academy in 1982.

Graduated from the National Film and Television School in UK (Screenwriting and Directing) in 1989.
As a screenwriter, director and actor, he has starred in over a hundred of movies and TV drama. Has played lead roles as emperors, generals, ministers, poets and social elites for dozens of times.
Has won Best Screenplay awards in Taiwan for three times.
Invited by Tokyo art museum for solo calligraphy exhibition. Has participated in many international and domestic calligraphy exhibitions.
Has published "Sketches by Zhang TieLin‧Painting scroll from Chengdu teahouse", " Chong bentang ", "Chong bentang ren chen bang shu" and other publications.

1982年畢業於北京電影學院。
1989年畢業於英國國立電影電視學院編導系。
作為編劇、導演、演員曾主演電影暨電視劇百餘部，扮演不同朝代的帝皇有四十多次，才子佳人帝王將相等角色不計其數。
曾獲三屆台灣電影劇本獎。 應邀在東京美術館舉辦個人書法展。曾多次參加國際、國內書法展。
出版《張鐵林寫生筆記‧成都茶館長卷》《崇本堂》《崇本堂壬辰榜書》等著作。
